Beautiful pendant necklace with a big vintage ( XIX century) coin representing the ancient roman goddess Minerva.
Minerva was the Roman goddess of wisdom, justice, law, victory, and the sponsor of arts, trade, and strategy. As the most important Roman goddess, she was highly revered, honored, and respected, commonly depicted as tall with an athletic and muscular build, as well as wearing armour and carrying a spear. She was the counterpart of the Greek goddess Athena.
