They are made in brass and bathed in 1 micron of 24k gold or 3 microns of palladium (silver color). Palladium is now the most valuable of the four major precious metals, It is a platinum group metal, it has a premium white color that will not fade. It is nickel free, hypoallergenic, tarnish resistant and more durable than white gold. It has the look of platinum, and comparable cost to gold.
